Remembering Clément Sauvé

Clem was my cousin and I just can't believe how he made a difference in my life. He is the reason of my comics addiction and I am thankful for everything he showed me... You are the reason why comics is part of my life now.

Neighbours are dangerous

Clement was mad cool. An awesome guy . Great artist. We met when we both worked at wild storm. Last time we talked he said the cancer was gone. What a loss. I miss you brother.

I was surfing Deviant Art one day last year, just checking out cool art and I ran across Mr. Sauve's work. I was and still am, blown away by his work. His design, his attention to detail!!! His work was so detailed and graceful and tight. And then I learned that he'd been taken by cancer. Truly my heart went out to his family and friends. What a tremendous talent that was taken far, far too soon. May you rest in peace Clement. You are truly missed.

I will always cherish the very short period of time that I was fortunate enough to interface with Clement. Always pleasant, always prompt and always professional. We all know how rich in talent he was and how hard he had worked to develope it. I will honestly miss him.

From a fellow artist and an O&A fan, RIP to a true artist, killer designs from Army of Two down to the concept pieces (best Iron Man design ever) I saw on deviantart, thank you for all the great and inspiring work.

I don't know why one of my favorite artists had to leave so early. He was just getting started. Every single line was perfect and only served to reinforce strength. His designs were exalted. My admiration of him is based on only a handful of drawings that I can find, but they are all I need to know what a truly gifted artist he was. I will be learning from Clement for years based on these few precious drawings, he is on my short list of most inspirational artists.

G. I. Joe Renegades fast became one of my fave series. So much so, that I put the entire 1st season on videotape for watching commercial-free anytime. Thanks to Clement one of my favorite heroes came back to animation with great artwork. I wish there couldve been a 2nd season.
